Vivid native-style Arabian halter inspired by Jordanian costumes

The vibrant red of this halter is sure to catch eyes in the show ring! Inspired by Jordanian costumes and made from embroidery floss, the body of the halter is a four-strand flat braid. Cowrie medallions and beads have been painted in acrylics to maximize detail without sacrificing scale. The nose is made from two strands of silver chain and the matching braided lead is attached to a single strand of chain with an o-ring. This halter adjusts only at the throat; a small thread loop slides to give the best fit.

This halter is best suited for the Stone Chips Arabian but can be coaxed onto the Breyer G1 Arabian and Sarah Rose’s Jezebel resin. It is not suitable for Breyer’s G2 or G3 Arabians and will not fit Sarah Rose’s Mini Khemo.

PLEASE NOTE: This halter is a prototype piece and was used as an experiment for new styles or techniques. It does not reflect my usual standard of work and may exhibit small flaws, but is otherwise structurally sound at time of sale. The price of the piece reflects these factors and it is sold as-is.

I use Tandy Eco-Flo dyes, leather paints, and sealers and do my best to ensure that your model will be safe while wearing my work, however: bleeding or color transfer to a model is always a possibility. I highly recommend that tack not be displayed for prolonged periods of time on models.
