Process: Shaped Inlay Browband

These photos and steps were originally posted on Facebook in 2021.

Leather cut to shape, about 2x as wide as I need + braided metallic floss

Holes punched at the ends, inset a bit from where the browband meets the crown, floss fed through one end, anchored with glue, and then glued down dead center in the leather. Be sparing here or you'll have a mess to deal with later!

Floss fed through the other hole and anchored

Apply glue to the back side of the leather and fold under for a clean, padded look.
